Shoes have unknowingly become an integral part of our fashion and attraction statement. Have you ever seen someone playing a sport or jogging early in the morning in their formal leather shoes? Or have you seen someone dressed in a formal suit and wearing a pair of sneakers? Well, the answer is obviously a big no, no. Shoemakers have evolved a lot since their origin. Now they provide customers with a range of footwear for various purposes. Whether it is a formal ceremony, sports, jogging, horseback riding, etc. Now we even find shoes for each and every one of the sports that are practiced. The main players are Nike, Reebok, Adidas, Puma and Fila.

Running shoes are commonly known as sneakers, jogging shoes, or sports shoes. These are known to protect the sole and also lessen the impact on the knee. Now, with the expansion of the shoe industry, running shoes are now based more on lower shoe design than upper shoe aesthetics. The sole design is unique for each purpose. That is, either to dance, jump or run.

I’m sure you’re planning to go to the nearest store and get a pair for yourself right away. But wait, the biggest challenge is finding the shoe that best fits your feet and suits your purpose and the track you’re running on. Choosing the right shoe is definitely an important decision as every step you take lands with a bang on your feet, and your shoes need to be able to absorb the impact and prevent any injury. Let’s look at some important things to keep in mind to find the best running shoes for your feet.

1. The type of your feet:

This can be verified by taking a look at your footprint on any soft/sand surface. People with flat feet need to find a shoe with a straight last. If the arches are of medium height you will need a semi-curved shoe. High arched people need a curved shoe.

2. Stand up when your shoe size is measured:

This is because when you are standing, due to the load of your body being applied downwards, your foot will flatten a bit and become a bit larger.

3. Walk for 5-10 minutes during try-on rounds at the shoe store:

This is very important and most of us neglect or avoid it. People buy right away because it adapts to their feet. But it is very important to check whether the curves rub your toes and cause pain etc.

4. Examine the worn part of the sole of your old shoes:

This helps to know which part of your feet is shocking. Regarding the part of the sole that is wearing out, choose a shoe where the sole design has maximum impact and offers additional cushioning to protect your feet.

Having said all this, it is also important to know the correct running form, the landing pattern of your foot. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy a pair of running shoes at your nearest shoe store.
