Modulating furnaces generally operate at a fixed efficiency of around 65%. If used properly, a modulating furnace can reduce overall energy consumption by 75-80%. In addition, they come with a provision to improve the efficiency of the air conditioning by 15% by adding a variable speed fan that helps to reduce the ambient temperature by avoiding unnecessary air saturation in the rooms.

Lastly, to ensure that the furnace runs smoothly, care must be taken to ensure that the furnace is regularly maintained. Sitting around and waiting for something to go wrong is never a good idea, as such mistakes are not only going to be detrimental to the life of your oven, but will also cost you a lot more money to repair compared to regular maintenance.
