Many people wonder what Master Cleanse friendly recipes are out there that can help prevent them from reverting to their old eating habits. This is critical because what you do after the master clean is just as important as what you do before and during the clean. For this reason, I decided to dedicate a series of articles to those who came out of the Master Cleanse sharing post-cleanse recipe ideas. This one is in salad dressing, Goddess Dressing to be exact. I hope you enjoy reading this as much as you enjoy dressing up and eating your salads.

As I prepare my body for my next cleanse, I find that salads are a good food to turn to. Let’s face it, when you get into that lazy couch potato mode, a salad can be quick and easy. You don’t have to know how to cook and you don’t even need to chop vegetables if you don’t feel like it. Buy the salad mix ready, add the dressing, and you’re done. Looking for a little more substance? You can go ahead and add beans, chicken, or tuna to give your salad a more filling bite. But don’t forget that you are supposed to adjust to a new lifestyle and not fall back into your old ways.

Obviously, there are tons of accessories you can add to make your dining experience new every time and just by changing the dressing you have endless possibilities.
Here’s an easy dressing recipe that you can make in no time.

Goddess dressing

Ingredients:

1/2 cup of extra virgin olive oil
3 tablespoons tahini: this is what happens when you grind sesame seeds
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
1/2 tablespoon of tamari
Juice of 1/2 lemon
2 garlic cloves, pressed
pinch of sea salt
1 teaspoon of chopped parsley
1 teaspoon chives, minced
1/3 to ½ cup purified water, use your own judgment

Addresses:

Take all the ingredients and place them in any jar that has a lid that you can squeeze. Shake the mixture to blind everything together and voila.

Pour it into your salad, dip your carrot and celery in it, or just drink it on its own … it’s so good.

Serving: about 1 cup

This is just one of many ways to stay in good shape with your newfound wellness. Whether you don’t want to cook, don’t know what to cook, or don’t know how to cook, you can make a salad. As you can see, making your own dressing can be fun and easy. It also allows you to try more ambitious dishes. There is something about doing a cleanse like this that has a profound effect on a person’s attitude and demeanor. Who would have thought that doing the Master Cleanse would open up a whole new world where you, of all people, would voluntarily change your diet and start cooking your own food from scratch? Wow! If this is possible, who knows, maybe we can elect a president who can fix this whole mess … well, I can dream, right?
