Bartholin Cyst Essential Oil Treatment

What is a Bartholin’s glans?

The Bartholin’s gland is a tiny organ in each of the labia minora (vaginal lips) just outside the opening of the vagina. If the vagina were a clock face, the Bartholin’s glands would be found around 4 and 8 o’clock. They are usually so small that they are invisible. During sexual arousal, Bartholin’s glans releases a lubricating fluid. A Barholin gland cyst develops when the gland becomes clogged. The glans can become blocked for a variety of reasons, such as infection, inflammation, long-term irritation, or poor circulation. When a blockage occurs, a round swelling called a cyst forms that can grow to the size of an orange, although most are only the size of a golf ball. Cysts can become tender, although not always.

I made a pure essential oil blend for my friend to try in a sitz bath. The key essential oils I used in the
Bartholin Acorn Essential Oil Formula:

Cypress (astringent to increase circulation and aid drainage)
Juniperberry (detoxifying)
High Altitude Lavender (anti-inflammatory)

PREPARATION:

To a 15 ml bottle add: 125 drops of Cypress and Juniperberry, and 50 drops of Lavender

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

Add 3-4 drops of Bartholin Gland essential oil formula in a carrier of Epson salts (1/2 cup) added to a sitz bath. Soak for 10-15 minutes, once a day. If you don’t notice a change in the cyst or symptoms of discomfort within a few hours after your soak, you can repeat.

WHAT TO EXPECT:

I asked my friend to let me know how things went in the next few days. She wrote to me several days later thanking me for the Bartholin’s Cyst essential oil formula and reporting that the Bartholin’s Cyst had completely healed. She told me that the glans began to drain one day after starting treatment and was completely healed by the third day after starting treatment, and never came back (over a year ago). It was very easy to deal with it. She used three sitz baths with the essential oil formula in Epson salts for Bartholin’s cyst 3 times a day for 3 days. She also mixed the Bartholin’s Cyst formula with light coconut oil and applied after bathing. She told me that the marble-sized Bartholin’s cyst shrunk and disappeared permanently (over a year ago). She encouraged me to let others know about the Bartholin cyst formula. She told me that on the web there was a lot of fear of having a Bartholin’s gland cyst or an infected gland, and an apparent resignation to being thrown around by a doctor to solve the problem.

CAUTION: Due to its stimulating effect on the kidneys, juniper berry oil should not be used during pregnancy. Avoid juniper berry in cases of acute kidney or bladder infections or kidney disease.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are pregnant, I recommend that you do not use essential oils during your first trimester, and after that only use essential oils under the direct supervision of a professionally trained and certified clinical aromatherapist.

Aromatherapy is Nature’s Medicine in its purest and most essential form. Fragrance oils are the very soul of a plant. Even one or two drops can produce significant results for your body, mind, and spirit. Properly administered essential oils are a natural, safe, and effective way to improve your health and well-being and can produce successful results where other methods have failed. Talk to your doctor about serious health problems and don’t try to self-diagnose.
