How You Can Get The Body You Want Fast: 5 Weight Loss Recipes

We all want to get in shape fast. The world moves at dizzying speeds. We can get our information fast, drive fast cars, have a video chat on the other side of the world, and on top of that, we’re constantly bombarded by media and TV with celebrities who look flabby one day and seem lost a month later. everything and they’re on the cover of a magazine in a bikini. What gives? So what’s the secret to getting the body you want fast?

The secret is that there is no big secret to losing weight. Information has always been in front of us all the time. The secret to getting the body you want fast has been clouded by advertisements from McDonalds, Burger King, and Pizza Hut. Your ads are meant to appeal to your emotions and make you happy with the purchase of your product. You feel good while eating it and then you feel guilty.

Now, how can we make healthy food look good? Well, I guess it’s not that easy. When was the last time that Idaho potato commercial made you want to jump out of your seat and go bake a potato? It’s what I thought.

Food is not glamorous or exciting on TV. We need to find a way to make the food that is good for us also taste good. Because who wants to eat healthy if you have to choke. No one would follow a healthy diet for very long if that were the case.

So here are a couple of recipes to get you started on your way to Getting the Body You Want Fast:

Breakfast:

Peanut Butter Banana Oatmeal – In a bowl, slice a banana, add 1 tbsp peanut butter, 1 package plain instant oatmeal, and 4 tbsp water (you can add more water if you want it thicker, I like mine thick) Microwave for 2 minutes, stir and enjoy.

Banana Graham Crackers – Crush 2 low-fat graham crackers in a bowl, slice up a banana, and top with a container of 100-calorie banana yogurt.

Lunch:

Kiwi Shrimp Salad: 6 oz cooked shrimp, 1 kiwi (sliced), 1 medium cucumber, 3 cups mixed greens, 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.

Whole Wheat Salad Wrap: 1-8 in. whole wheat tortilla, ½ cup diced cucumber, ½ cup romaine lettuce, ½ cup chopped tomato, 3TB fat-free ranch dressing, 1 cup sprouts. Combine the ingredients and put them inside the wrapper with the dressing.

Dinner:

Pork Skewers: 4 oz lean pork, 1 green bell pepper, 1 yellow bell pepper, 2C mushrooms, 2C cherry tomatoes, salt and pepper. Alternate and grill until pork is cooked through.

The recipes above are around 300 calories each, so they’re perfect for helping you get the body you want fast.
