Everyone would agree that San Francisco is a romantic place. Christmas is a romantic season. That would be why this city is in harmony with Christmas. Saint Francis appears in several Christmas songs. Among the Christmas songs of the city, the most popular and famous is “Christmas in San Francisco”. Several musicians sang this song. Many blogs are writing about this song in different languages. They include English, Chinese and Japanese.

Starts; “Christmas in San Francisco. What a beautiful place to be! Seeing the hills lit up like a diamond Christmas tree.” Looking up the hill at California Street from the lower side of Grant, Karney, or Montgomery, the illuminations on both sides of California Street are impressive.

The song continues; “Listening to the children singing Christmas carols, people come from far and wide to sing along with the children standing around Union Square.” Even though the Bay Area doesn’t have Christmas snow year-round, it’s common to see these types of typical Christmas scenes. Friendly San Franciscans like to join visitors in singing along with the kids.

“Let’s check out Chinatown, eating lychee nuts and roast boar. What can be said about the Golden Gate that hasn’t been said before?” Sing along to favorite places in San Francisco for visitors and residents alike. Chinatown is the perfect place to relax with tea and a dumpling. The Golden Gate Bridge appears in his lyrics as a spectacular wonder.

The song enters its end with the lyrics; “Christmas in San Francisco. There is no place so dear. It is the closest thing to heaven. How I wish you were here.” San Francisco is a romantic place to stay over Christmas. If one were with their spouse, partner, lover, boyfriend or girlfriend, the city would be a happy, pleasant and colorful place. Even if you were alone in the city, like this song, the city would be warm, kind and understanding of your loneliness.

Visitors can enjoy Christmas in San Francisco no matter where they are visiting. There are several places that visitors do not want to miss. The one at the top of the list is “Union Square”. In addition to the world famous Christmas tree in the square, Macy’s is decked out in holiday lights. Tiffany’s, Newman Marcus, Levis and stores decorate their windows with bright, colorful lights. The decorations in the hotels are extraordinary. Hotels, such as Westin Saint Francis, Handlery Union Square, Villa Florence, Grand Hyatt or Hilton, compete with each other in their unique decorations. Both visitors and residents enjoy Christmas in this city.
