There is no doubt that kissing, when done correctly, can create an intimacy and connection that can catapult a relationship. to the next level faster than any other act. However, when done wrong, a mediocre kiss can ruin a relationship with a partner with whom you might have everything in common. That’s why learning to kiss is a skill you should want to perfect even if you think you’re already a pretty good kisser.

Let’s think about this for a minute. Have you ever been with someone who was perfect in every way? You may have a common goal and agreed opinions on important issues. They can be extremely attentive and very generous with their time. They can even be very generous with small gifts and the like. Then comes the moment of truth. You get the chance to have your first kiss after a couple of dates and you find yourself totally baffled. Either it was like kissing a dead fish or it felt like they were trying to devour you or maybe even some aspect of that first kiss that you just can’t put your finger on. Maybe even give them another chance considering the fact that maybe they were just nervous or trying too hard. But every time you find out that they just suck at kissing or even that there is just no passion when you kiss them.

Now think about this for a minute. Could her partner or maybe someone she just started dating could feel the same for you? Do you want to take that risk and possibly miss out on the relationship of your life because you don’t know how to kiss? We’re going to brush up on your kissing technique a bit here and put you on the path to being the kind of kisser your date will brag about to their friends on Monday morning.

Strain – It is important to create some sexual tension before that first kiss. Yeah, they’re thinking about it and you’re thinking about it and you’ve probably both been thinking about what that first kiss will be like from the moment you met. Don’t let them down by messing it up and choosing the wrong time to experience that first kiss. There will come a time when the two of you are alone and your eyes meet and without saying a word you will know that it is the moment that the two of you were waiting for.

Try not to seem too anxious. Enjoy the warmth of this moment. Live it and let yourself be carried away by the passion of the moment. Take it easy and let this moment last as long as possible. That sweet first kiss is the moment your partner has been waiting for since they first saw you, and as the two of you slowly move toward that first kiss, the tension builds to a point where it can almost seem unbearable. This is what you are looking for and this should be your goal. The sweetness and whisper of a kiss may be the most passionate kiss you can give your partner on their first kiss.

Passion – With that growing tension will come passion and if you have done everything right and if your partner is really attracted to you, the passion will increase as your first kiss is followed by more kisses. Let yourself go for the moment. Go where your heart takes you and at the same time pick up your partner’s tails. If they go wild with passion, then go ahead. If he seems to be enjoying soft, tender kisses, then give them to him. There will be subtle clues along the way that you should be looking for. Are they hugging you tight or touching you gently? Is your mouth open or closed? Do they seem shy or have they gone from zero to sixty in 2.3 seconds? It may be that they have been waiting a long time for this moment and the tension and passion are unbearable for them now that they are overwhelmed with passion for you.

speaking – There is nothing wrong with whispering softly or even some louder vocalizations when kissing. Everyone is different and for some it’s exciting, while for others it’s just a distraction that can be annoying. Try it or follow the example of your partner? Usually, if your partner is a bit talkative, it means that they appreciate some banter while you’re kissing. If you don’t feel comfortable vocalizing while kissing, take it easy and move on. Again, for some it is a great turn-on and a skill that can be learned and mastered without much effort.

Take these tips seriously and try to be in tune with your partner As you get closer to that first kiss and all those that follow, you’ll find that your relationship will benefit greatly. Kissing is a very important but often overlooked part of a relationship where we could all use a little help.
