A very simple piano song for beginners to learn and play is Elvis Presley’s Suspicious Minds. It was written by American songwriter Mark James and given to Elvis Presley to release as a single and it turned out to be one of his most popular hits. It was originally written on guitar, but features some solid organ and piano sections, and the song works well as a piano arrangement. It has a very strong melody that can be performed on the piano.

It reached number one on the US charts in August 1969 and was regarded as the hit that brought his career back, as prior to this song it had been seven years since his last number one hit. It was his seventeenth and final number-one single in the United States, and the Rolling Stones ranked it on their 500 list as one of the greatest songs of all time.

It did very well in the UK but missed out on number one and went to number two, however he had a hit with this song three times in the UK, first in 1969 when it was first released, second in 2001 when a live version was recorded in Las Vegas, and the third in 2007, when it was released to celebrate the Life of Elvis, commemorating the 30th Anniversary of his death.

It was the last song Elvis released in the United States before he sadly passed away on August 16, 1977, at the young age of 42.

The song has been covered by various artists, including Fine Young Cannibals in 1986, Dee Dee Warwick in 1970, while it was still on the charts with Elvis. In 2009 it was covered by the rock band Glasvegas, with singer Florence from Florence and the Machine, they performed it live at the NME Music Awards. It was released in September 2002 by Gareth Gates in September 2002, and it turned out to be his third consecutive number one hit with Suspicious Minds, making it the most popular version of the song in the last ten years.

The song is about a distrustful and dysfunctional relationship, and the desperate need of the people in their relationship to overcome their problems in order for their relationship to survive.

The song is in the key of G major, which really suited Elvis’ voice, and features the chords G major, C major, D major, B minor, and E minor. It has a beautiful middle section that changes time but really brings out the emotion of the song.
