Sore penis after sex? How to soothe the burn

When a man has a lot of sex, he can feel many things. Happiness. Elation. Extreme throbbing pain. Hope for? That’s how it is! Marathon lovemaking can leave a man with more than a few happy memories; it can also leave you with a very sore penis after sex. There may be irritation and a bit of chafing if there was any dry action and there will certainly be some dull ache and discomfort. No need to call the doctor (unless a penile injury is feared), here are some simple home remedies any man can use when he needs to practice a little extra care for his man downstairs.

1) Take a sexual sabbatical – The first, best and truest advice for treating a sore penis after sex is to give that male member a break.. Of everything. Yes, even manual action, oral action and self love. Give that sore dick a few days off from all he’s done. This time out serves two purposes: first, it will give the penis time to recover, and second, it will improve sensitivity for the next intimate encounter.

2) Go Command – Let nothing come between a man and his penis except air. With nothing touching the delicate area, no pants or bottoms of any kind, it takes pressure off the penis and also eliminates any chance of irritating a sore and potentially irritated penis. It will also cool down the overworked member. For men who live with their partners, it can be a good rule of thumb to let them know that temporary nudity isn’t an amore-type advance, but rather a treat for a little too much. Oh, and don’t leave the house without pants. It won’t go well.

3) Just chill (no Netflix) – By bringing the temperature back to normal, the pain usually decreases. Make a cold compress at home with a soft washcloth soaked in cold water. Simply rinse the wipe off and place it on your bare penis. Do not use ice or ice packs on the penis as they can stick to the skin and be too intense for comfort and may actually cause more pain. Continue to replace the compress every few minutes until you feel comfortable.

4) Take a warm bath – A bath can be a ritual and relaxing practice that calms the body and reduces tension in the muscles. Taking a warm bath after a lot of sex can be very comforting for the penis. It helps the blood vessels in the penis to relax, which will reduce the tension in the penis. Take a warm bath and stay in it for at least 20 minutes for optimal results. Make sure you don’t use hot water as it can make things worse and don’t use bubble baths which could irritate the skin. Maybe even light a candle and play relaxing music to set the mood.

5) Perform a light massage with a cream for the penis. After a warm bath or cold compress, use a specially formulated penis health cream (Health professionals recommend Man 1 Man Oil, which has been clinically proven to be safe and gentle on the skin) to promote healing and relief. Nutrient-rich creams designed specifically for the penis should have a complete moisturizer, such as shea butter, for an emollient-rich, irritation-free experience. Look out for creams with special ingredients like L-Carnitine to prevent nerve damage from excess friction due to sex and help preserve penile sensitivity. Another beneficial addition would be vitamin C, which helps in the production of collagen, increasing the elasticity and suppleness of the skin. The right cream can make all the difference when it comes to relieving and treating penile pain after sex.
