What is a blog?

Blog is short for weblog. A weblog is a magazine (or newsletter) that is frequently updated and intended for the general public to consume. They are usually updated daily using software that allows people with little or no technical training to update and maintain the blog.

Why Blog?

As its definition helps to publish news updates, to promote new products and services as well as different opinions of the various experts who participate in blogs. Today, many companies open a blog section to sell products, for customer service and after-sales support. Business blogging is the fast track to increasing website link popularity and Google PageRank. Keyword-rich content that is regularly updated and offered by blogs scores highly in search engines as a direct result of its link drawing power.

Link exchanges between related thematic blogs are frequent and not difficult at all. Please note that bloggers exchange links primarily for visitor traffic purposes and not for search engine optimization. Link exchanges generally need to be approached from a shared traffic perspective.

Blogs also provide a unique list of high PageRank blog directories. While they maintain their exclusivity in the Internet blog directories only, blogs are welcome in the main Internet directories. In that sense, blogging gets the best of both worlds.

Website owners, who are serious about improving not only the number of inbound links, but also the relevant quality of their topic, should seriously consider adding a business blog component to their website.

Blog settings on blogger.com

Blogs can be created from the bloggers site, as well as from your own FTP (websites). People who do not have any website, can create a blog directly from the bloggers site. But those who have their own site can also create blogs from their own FTP with the help of blogger.com.

Blogger.com is the most popular blog creator in the blog world. Although hundreds of sites offer free blogs, blogger.com is the most popular due to its features and functions.
