The different types of apartments

When visiting a big destination, deciding where you should stay is a difficult task. There are already several options to choose from. Would you stay in a hotel, a villa or an apartment?

Types of apartments

loft – This is a large room in a building that was converted from commercial to residential. It has very high ceilings and windows. It can be presented with anything from a studio to 3 bedrooms.

study alcove – Alcove is defined as an area of ​​not more than one hundred square feet located outside of the habitable space. This is also known as a half room. Actually, it can be walled up to create an eating corner or a sleeping corner; this will largely depend on its size and location.

Junior 1 bedroom – This is a step up from a study. It often has a separate area for sleeping or eating.

3 rooms – A railway apartment is the best example of this in which several rooms are connected by doors but not by a corridor. The apartment has 3 rooms; however, the layout does not lend itself to creating more than 1-2 bedrooms.

2 bedrooms – This has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and a common living space.

Duplex or Triplex – This is a 2 or 3 level unit. Levels can be unique in that the second or third level is for sleeping only. Others may have actual floors with bathrooms on all levels.
