The Knights of the Tarot Cards – Heroes Galloping to the Rescue

April 19, 2022 0 Comments

Wherever there is a Knight, there is action; movement; exercise; drama. It’s better than Xena and Hercules, because it’s happening in your life. It’s your own exciting 5-star event.

But not all Knights create the same events.

If the Knight of Cups comes into your Tarot reading (unless moderated by a card that suggests disappointment, like the 8 of Cups, or a card that suggests caution, like the 7 of Swords), you can expect to be swept away. your feet for a sensitive and romantic boy or girl. Go for it!

The Knight of Swords means well, but this guy will bring great chaos into your life. He’ll swoop in, make trouble, and walk away, leaving you with a big mess to clean up. Non-judgmental: Some people thrive in theater. And an encounter with the Knight of Swords can be very exciting.

The Knight of Wands, however. Ah, here is a savior. (And if you are a man reading this, the savior may be a part of yourself, or it may be a masculine quality in a friend.) The Knight of Wands is optimistic and honest. Ladies, if you picked this card after a question about your current guy, relax. He is not cheating on you. Some Knights of the Wand are even a bit naive and can get discouraged if they can’t save you right away, right now.

The Knight of Coins (also known as Knight of Pentacles), is an OMG type of boy or girl. And boy is he a workaholic, not to the point of ignoring the rest of his life’s duties, but because his career and his ability to support and help others are important to him. Unlike the other Knights, he does not gallop wildly anywhere. He thinks, plans, and then goes at his own predetermined speed.

Don’t forget the archetypes.

When you get a Knight in your reading, you can also indicate

one. apart from yourself with these qualities,

two. an urge to use these parts of yourself to overcome an immediate obstacle,

3. any movement (emotional, mental, or travel-related) that you might want to consider.

These Knights are often depicted as male, but remember, in modern Tarot interpretations, Knights are not gender specific.

The gentlemen, backwards

If a horse lands on your reading upside down (upside down), it represents the same basic idea, but the result is not as certain or perhaps as fast. For example, the Knight of Coins reversed indicates the need to rethink money plans before committing. The Knight of Swords reversed could mean that the person galloping into your life may not be as powerful or impactful as they seem. A reversed Knight of Wands, on the other hand, offers the gift of letting go of a project (or person) that is slowing you down. He reminds us to keep our long-term goals in mind and not get sidetracked. And finally, if you receive a reversed Knight of Cups, he is telling you to approach your activities and relationships with more thought, more planning, and perhaps more maturity.
