Introduction:

SIM cards are small smart cards that fit inside mobile phones based on GSM technology. It contains modified information about your friends and family, as well as network establishment and even phone book data. And you can put the SIM card into another GSM phone very easily.

Aim:

A SIM card is a digital identification chip in cell phones. Support and encryption capability help prevent your cell phone from being stolen and your conversations from just anyone. The SIM card also stores personal data and billing information and can be exchanged between phones. So you can easily receive private calls even while using someone else’s phone by simply putting your unique SIM in that cell phone.

Dual SIM:

Dual-SIM means that a mobile phone has two plugs and the ability to use two cards at the same time. A Dual-SIM mobile phone can access two different phone numbers at the same time, while other phones can only use one phone number.

Tri-SIM:

Tri-SIM means that a cell phone has three SIM sockets and the ability to use three SIM cards at the same time. A cell phone with three SIM can access three different phone numbers at the same time to receive calls and can even dial as well.

CDMA:

CDMA is a radio technology invented by the Qualcomm Company. It allows a large number of cell phones to operate simultaneously in the same area by assigning each phone a unique radio transmission pattern defined by a preset code. Verizon and Sprint are the two largest CDMA carriers in the US.

Tri-SIM issues:

The main problem I found out is that if I am using a dual SIM mobile set and both SIMs are active and working smoothly and if you use SIM 1 for voice calls, and at that very moment SIM 2 automatically turns off, it means that if someone tries to call you at the same time with SIM 2, the caller will get the message that this number is currently deactivated/the user is busy/unavailable etc. and another problem is that if someone tried to reach you on SIM 1 for a very urgent matter but you are busy on SIM 2, you still won’t get any call waiting alert, which is particularly bad.

What are the main purposes of having tri-SIM mobile phones?

Conclusion:

To the readers I only suggest you not to buy tri-SIM cell phones, it is not giving the most benefit to the users. If you really want to use you can go dual SIM but a single SIM is always great for a real sincere user.
