How important are lights in our lives?

Imagine the dark world. Let’s forget for a second that life wouldn’t exist without sunlight (which tells us about the importance of light) and focus on the atmosphere. You’ve probably noticed that in movies, wherever evil takes over the world, there is darkness everywhere, there are no bright colors, and people are too serious. That could be the general sentiment projected by the luck of the light.

We have all experienced the influence of light on our mood. When you get up in the morning, not always but in most cases, even if you don’t have any special reason to feel happy about that day, the sun will help you get through it more easily. The beautiful sunny day definitely means a lot to all of us. Not to mention sunlight as a source of life, since this article is not that serious and I am not that smart.

Lights make us feel safer. People are afraid of what they cannot see. Sometimes when the lights on your street happen to go out, you don’t feel as safe as when they are on. You start to imagine that there is someone behind that tree and if you try hard enough you can almost see it. This is how strong our mind is to make us believe anything. Maybe we should be more afraid of our minds than the dark.

Anyway, we also need light to feel safer from crime. Unfortunately, we live in that kind of world where people are in danger from other people. People are spending a lot of money to install lights and security systems in their houses to prevent other people from entering their houses and hurting them.

As we see from the beginning of this story, sunlight gives life and other lights protect life. Another way to protect lives is traffic lights. Lights on cars, bicycles, tracks, robots that protect us from crashes, where we can easily lose our lives.

What about the lights and art? In terms of photography, even the most convincing subject will not be able to produce an effective image without good light and the most appropriate lighting. In one aspect of movies, it is an art and a skill to establish good lighting that prevents shadows from interfering with the scene and being seen by the camera.

In addition to the arts, lights are important in our personal lives, for our good mood, for the romantic atmosphere, for parties as all this helps us better cope with life full of stress and responsibilities. Maybe sometimes we should stop for a second and think about what we have, how blessed we are, with many things that make our lives easier. If we pay attention to the things around us, we may appreciate our world more.
